Public Sale – Saturday 30 November

This Saturday, November 30th, GIfts from the Heart will have another public sale to help raise funds for overhead costs from 10am to 3pm. Naturally, we will use a Halloween theme for the weekend! here will be some free toys and healthy treats for children who come. Need winter clothing? We have lots!

Adopt a Family – Christmas 2021

Our annual Adopt a Family for Christmas opens at 10am, November 1st! Help make a family’s holiday season joyous and bright. You can even choose the family by ages, size, and marital status.

Project Love – Christmas 2021

November 1stt will mark the day we will start taking registrations for this year’s Project Love!
Project Love is intended to help give to families in need for Christmas. Healthy food hampers, toys for children, gifts for family, and personal items will be given to eligible families. (Eligible families must have proof of combined $30,000 or less annual income and have health cards for each family member.)

2nd Annual Clothing Drive

We are partnered with RedFox Flooring Warehouse! If you have any new or gently used clothing you can part with, drop it off at RedFox Flooring Warehouse and they will bring all donations to us. This clothing drive will go from today, 22nd of March, to the 27th.

Betty Begg-Brooks awarded Forbes Kennedy Volunteer of the Year

Betty Begg-Brooks has been selected for the 2020 Forbes Kennedy Volunteer of the Year Award. A ceremony was held for The Citizen Recognition Awards, which recognize extraordinary Charlottetown residents that go above and beyond to positively impact the people and community around them.  Betty Begg-Brooks, as founder of Gifts from the Heart, provides free items such as household goods, clothing, food, and more to Islanders in need.

Project Love: A Holiday Toy Drive

With Christmas approaching, we are launching “Project Love,” a holiday toy drive. Our goal is to help families in need by providing them with toys and gifts for all.

We would like to ask for your support this season, as we expect that Christmas 2020 will be a very difficult time for many due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Please help us support Island families in need by dropping off new toys or gift cards to the following locations:
